Before the hustle and bustle of the holidays, before the frosty weather settles in…start your winter festivities off with a celebratory toast, during the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail’s annual Toast the Season wine event this November.
During the first two weekends of November (Friday – Sunday), attendees will enjoy a 1.5oz pour of hand-selected wine along with a delectable food pairing, at all the participating Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail wineries. Additionally, each ticket comes with “Cork Cash”, redeemable at any winery.
This incredible food and wine event is a can’t-miss hallmark of the holiday season. In celebration of the upcoming holiday season, participants can savor their favorite food and wine pairings during Toast the Season while also enjoying the second annual Lights over Leelanau winter promotional event, as participating wineries deck the halls with holiday lights for all to enjoy!

A Celebration of Blossoms, Beauty and Bounty on Old Mission Peninsula
Saturday, May 16, 2015
Bring on spring! On Old Mission Peninsula, that means new wine releases. Relish samples of WOMP’s newest vintages, as well as spring’s arrival to Old Mission Peninsula. The wineries invite you to a day of tasting their new releases while enjoying fresh, spring-inspired food pairings. Several stops will even offer a chance to chat with WOMP winemakers about the grape-to-glass winemaking process, as well as offering limited barrel and tank tastings. (Try them before they’re ready to bottle!) It’s been a cold, cold winter. Thaw out with WOMP!
There are transportation companies which you may hire separately from the event, but most guests simply drive themselves. The entire peninsula is only 19 miles long and five miles at its widest, so all wineries are within a just a few miles of each other. Click here for a list of transport companies if you’d like to hire a shuttle tour.
Tickets are available online herefor $25 per person, plus processing.
