Manitou Passage is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course that is located in an area that gave rise to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, one of the most beautiful places in in Leelanau County. The course is set amidst green meadows and the high, coastal forests that abut Lake Michigan’s beaches and dunes and afford stunning views of a serenely beautiful landscape.

Dunes Golf Club is a casual, friendly 18-hole course featuring 5730 yards of relaxing golf. Our location in the Glen Lake – Sleeping Bear Dunes Area gives you many opportunities to enjoy all of Northern Michigan’s outdoor activities. Dunes Golf Club was built in 1982, and opened the following spring as a 3152 yard 9 hole course. Back nine construction began in the fall of 1989. It opened in the fall of 1991. Although shorter, at 2578 Yards, the back nine is still harder for most golfers, thanks to its tight tree lined fairways.
Bel Lago wines are made from grapes grown in family-owned vineyards overlooking Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan.
Bel Lago Vineyards and Winery was founded in 1987 by Domenic, Ruth, and Amy Iezzoni and Charles Edson. The emphasis at Bel Lago has been on quality, with an unwavering commitment to excellence.

We've had excessive heat. We've had days of dirty yellow smoke-filled skies. But today? Today was a prototypical northern Michigan day--a bit of chill in the air early morning and plentiful sunshine. It was an exquisite day for painting with the oldartbuilding plein air painters at bellagowinery tasting room on Lake Shore Road just north of Cedar MI. Best part of my experience was several conversations I had with Charlie, Bel Lago's founder, as he went up and down the road on his tractor; while sometimes it's good to paint in silence, I'll always welcome a good chat and the breakout brings.
