Manitou Passage Golf Club – A Northern Michigan Adventure
By Jim Barnes It may seem unthinkable, even sacrilegious, to make any changes to a course designed by the great Arnold Palmer. The Homestead Resort
Lake Michigan’s spectacular vistas make this a resort unlike others. The color of the water–sometimes blue, sometimes turquoise, sometimes golden–is one reason why. An optional Man-pants shortcut or you can take a longer safe option.

Who hung up all the underwear last year?

Watch out for hidden tree branches

3 over-under container passes! ...or at least 2 again!

Anyone not wearing a thong has to ride another 5K.

USA cycling's 3 meter width limit on the barriers in the long finish shoot after the last Hill please!!

How about a pro only section like at some of the World Cup MTB races or the Olympic course. Can have obstacles like rock garden, jumps and drops, etc.

Downhill. More downhill

1 free beer for participants of legal age. 🍻. Bells can afford it.

Not a fan of that fencing in the last quarter mile. Saw more crashes due to bottlenecks than I did in the entire race. Everywhere else at the finish was nice and wide open which was great

Many many huge hills please.

Table top or a large berm in the last 1/4 mile would be nice

Same as last year. I never got of my bike from the finish, just rode straight to my camper.

How about a nice send it jump like 2013??

How about a free beer

Loved the 2018 finish. Could be wider in a couple spots.

A Choose Your Own Adventure finish like those books from the 1980s. One way gets you to the finish, a 6-pack of Two Hearted, and meet and greet with Emily Batty or Trek rider of choice. The other way ends in a (sand) pit of vipers.

Anything but this!

A fountain of beer... or do a beer shot every 3 miles.

downhill with a tailwind

Straight sprint to the finish. No going in and out

2018 finish was great

Blue, sunny skies !!!!

A U-turn that sends you back to Kalkaska.

Just as long as its a little wider in the very last quarter mile I'm happy. It was extremely tough to pick off peeps in the last lil bit.
