Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail – Spring Sip and Savor – May 5 – 6, 2018

Spring Sip & Savor
As our vineyards awaken to the sun and warmth of May, toast to the enchanting beauty of spring, indulge your senses and discover delicious Leelanau Wines splendidly paired with scrumptious small bites! This beloved springtime event includes a self-guided tour along the trail, where you’re free to visit any of the 24 participating wineries in any order you choose on both Saturday (11-6) and Sunday (12-5). Tickets are limited and typically sell out, so get yours TODAY!

Ticket Information:
Tickets are $40 and include a souvenir wine glass, along with a featured wine and food pairing at each winery. After your featured pairing, most wineries offer an additional complimentary 2 to 3 tastes. Purchase your tickets by selecting a Starting Winery where you will check-in to the event and pick up your supplies before charting your own course to participating wineries in any order you choose. Tickets are good for both Saturday and Sunday. A $5 donation for every ticket sold goes to the Bruce Simpson Winemakers Scholarship to help students in their quest for a career in viticulture or enology in Northern Michigan.

Don’t want to drive? Find a willing friend and purchase an additional designated driver ticket for just $20. Your driver can still enjoy the food pairings while he/she takes you from winery to winery. You can also take your food & wine tour via bus or limo by contacting one of our transportation partners. We encourage you to contact them PRIOR to purchasing your tickets and a starting point. Small Plates – Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail – May 31, 2018

Dine with Leelanau winemakers!

The next wildly popular Small Plates—an intimate progressive dinner along the trail—is Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm. Enjoy a glass of wine paired with a gourmet tapas dish in the tasting rooms of up to three wineries during this unique dinner event that happens just twice per year! Many wineries partner with local chefs to prepare and serve each delicious pairing. Culinary aficionados will enjoy this upscale, gourmet dining experience!

Tickets are $15 per seating*, and you may get tickets for one, two or three seatings, each at the winery of your choice. Seating times are roughly 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm. Tickets must be ordered in advance for this event and always sell out quickly, so be sure to get yours today.

*Please note that due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate shared plates at this time. Each $15 seating is per person.

Enjoy tasting local award-winning wines from 12 Leelanau Peninsula wineries & 1 local brewery, delicious specialties from 8 local food vendors while soaking up beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands from our Leland Harbor venue. 2018 band(s) announced in the spring!
The 2017 line-up of all-day entertainment included: The award-winning Drew Hale Band‘s ‘modern country with a roots rock edge’ gets the party started from 12-3pm. Then ‘Detroit’s Ultimate Party Band’ – The Hidden Agenda Band – will have everyone dancing as they rock the stage from 3-6pm!

• Additional tokens are $2 each within festival
• Non-alcoholic beverages are available to purchase
• Volunteer  – In exchange for admission & wine glass (no taste tokens) Sign-up for a shift!
