The largest building in town, The Northport also houses a café, Motovino Cellars wine-tasting room, and the Northport Fitness Center. Guests at the Inn receive vouchers for use at the café, and discounts at the fitness center and the wine-tasting room.

Northport is located in one of the most beautiful areas in the country, amid vineyards and cherry and apple orchards, right on Grand Traverse Bay and only two miles east of Lake Michigan. Along with a newly refurbished marina and swimming beach, a new 9-hole golf course, a micro-brewery, a wine-tasting room and several new restaurants, the town also boasts a strong artistic presence and a healthy farm-to-table culture.
